Player: You told me I was a clean-up hitter.
Coach: Why did you drop the ball and start drooling?
Player: You told me to dribble.
Coach: Why did you give the other team our playbook?
Player: It wasn't doing us any good.
Coach: Why did you hold your nose when the ball came toward you?
Player: It was foul.
Coach: Why did you leave the building during the game?
Player: You told me to go for an outside shot.
Coach: Why did you miss that easy shot?
Player: So I could fit in with the rest of the team.
Coach: Why did you pick up that cheerleader?
Player: The quarterback sent me out for a pass.
Coach: Why did you tackle the cheerleaders?
Player: It's the only team we can beat.
Coach: Why did you walk every batter?
Pitcher: I was working on a no hitter.
Coach: Why did you walk that player?
Pitcher: I was scared. He had a bat in his hand.
